SREE DURGA TEMPLE


Sree Durga Temple is an ancient Devi Temple situated 3/4 km southeast of
Valanchery town. Believed that this Temple was built by a famous Namboothiri
family thousands of years ago.In the later years administration of this temple
came in to the hands of Valanchery Vellatt family and they worshiped
"DEVI" as their "KULADEVATHA".Now the temple is administered jointly
by Sree Durga Trust , Valanchery and Sree Durga Temple Commitee.
